Help with part identification

I'd appreciate some help in identifying a part. There is a panel on the underside of the car, right behind the front bumper, that shields the drive belts and other components from rain, snow, etc. Well, somehow I lost mine, whether it was taken off and not replaced when I had the car serviced, or it came off (weird), or whatever. I've gone to the realoem.com website to get a part no. for a replacement, but I can't find any, or what I think is the part is mysteriously listed "not available for your model" or some such thing.

Anyway, what I think I need is #8 in the diagram below from realoem. Could anyone help me out in getting a number for this thing, or if this is the wrong part, pointing out what would be the correct one? Thanks.

check the other diagrams on that page or a different month of production or model or enter your vin that way you'll get a more indepth exact parts list for your car. When it says it doesn't apply for your car 9 times out of 10 you're looking at a similar model (I do it all the time) it's a quirk of the site

Seriously, I'm missing this part as well. Call your BMW dealer, no one else will know what you are talking about (or will have it, as my day long adventure on the phone proved).

The part is around $15- $25, if I remember correctly. You won't find it online as it is special order only, if you can find it.

Just call the dealer and order it, it should be in within the week.

BTW, that's the bumper for a 1992-1993. You have a 1995, correct?

Thanks, folks, I'll try "stumping" the realoem website, I've encountered that quirk with it before. I take the route of entering the last seven digits of the VIN and it correctly identifies my car, so I figured that'd be the quickest, most accurate way to get to the parts list I want. Guess not.

To answer a few of your points, yes, my car's a '95, yet the image I posted was one of three or four that came up, I simply chose the one I thought depicted the panel most clearly. Evidently that one turns out to be from an M, but I imagine the panel's the same.

I try to get the part nos. beforehand whenever I go to the dealer, just to speed up the ordering process a bit, and to serve as a cross-reference against his parts list. I rather doubted I'd find this part available at one of the online sources, and even if I did, there'd probably be little if any price differential with the dealer.
