Exclamation New Member With A Weird Brake Problem-Searched

Every once in a while when I brake, I get a weird problem. I push the pedal down, but it feels like the pedal is hitting something (it's not) and it won't go any further until I let up and then apply the brakes again. Then everything is fine.

You may have a failing brake booster, or the vacuum hose that connects to it could be damaged.
