Hey all, I just followed the DIY on paint matching sideskirts, they turned out great! I never knew there was body color paint under the grey stuff. Anyway, here are a couple pics.

Now just go get some touchup paint from the dealer and paint the jack hole covers! BTW, best job I've seen of anyones attempt of removing the grey undercoating. Congrats.
Oh maybe mask off the shirts and buy a $5 can of clear coat and it will probably make them shine like the rest of the body.
What springs and shocks are you sitting on? Are the kosei's 17"?
I couldn't find the Castrol stuff, so I just used a generic cleaner/degreaser and it worked great. Also it helps to have a hose with a relitively powerful jet handy. I sprayed a whole bunch of the degreaser on, scrubbed the hell out of it, and hit it with the hose. The water really helped to take the old grey stuff off. Then just repeat.

I went out to try and find castrol degreaser and i couldn't find it... so i got this greased lightning blast stuff... it is a super strength auto shop degreaser... i am wondering if this stuff will work just as well as the castrol degreaser???
I'm sure it will, as long as it is a cleaner/degreaser. Like I said, I couldn't find the castrol stuff either, so I just used a generic cleaner/degreaser. Let us know how it works out for you!
