question for disconnect the battery for replacing the cluster bulbs

hi guys,
gonna try to do my DIY replacing bulbs of my cluster, also set of chrome rings~
sorry, i am noob about this battery disconnect thing, so which terminal? just (-) or (+) or both?
by the way, the steering wheel can't be adjust, so i have to turn the wheel to take the cluster out, if i disconnect the battery, i still can turn the wheel if i put the key in position 1?
thanks guys!

You only need to disconnect the (-) cable, just be sure to put a rag between it and the battery to prevent inadvertent contact. Also, make sure you have your radio code beforehand if you have that type of radio, otherwise it's major headache time.

The steering wheel lock is mechanical, not electrical, so you'll be okay (although I can't see how turning the steering wheel will facilitate removing the cluster).

actually, turning the steering wheel makes getting the cluster out much easier (at least it did inmine) Due to the limited space between the dash and the steering wheel, plus the overall size of the cluster, you have to pull the top of the cluster out & down, turn the steering wheel to the left, and slide the cluster out. Either that, or remove the steering wheel (which if you have an air bag in it you have to be careful)
