Water in left side of trunk
Apparently this is a fairly common problem but I didn't see the answer on the forums. Recently I've noticed a pooling of water in the left side of the trunk where the jack is stored. Is this a simple fix like replacing weather stripping around the tail lights or something more intensive?
(A general history of the car) My family is the third owner of this 1991 325i BMW and I'm about the third in my family to use it. It has about 218,000 miles on it and I'm about the first person in my family to start caring for it and I dont have much car experience other than replacing oil, fuel filters and such.
I know on mine it is leaking because of the tailligth seal...on both sides To see where the leak was I held a hose on the back window with the trunk open..

Hey thanks for the link celsdogg, pretty much figured out the glue holding my driver's side and trunk weather seals were gone and it was hanging loose, but I'll go ahead and check the other stuff later.
