1991 325is for sale of Ebay? Questions?

I'm looking at a black 1991 325is for sale on Ebay and was wondering what it might be worth. The car has a lot of work done to it and it looks like a real solid car. The price is $5000 right now and it ends this weekend, should I expect to pay this much or higher for a 325is in great condition like this one? I've been asking around and I"m looking for as much insight as I can get. Any help is appreciated. The car has 41K on the motor and is a 5 speed by the way. I'd post a link but I'm not sure if that is permitted on this forum, anyway let me know your thoughts.

Are you able to see the car in person? $5000 seems a bit too high even for a very clean good car. Links are fine here :thumbup

i was gonna post this earlier. it looks excellent to me. however if the price gets much higher, i might pass up on it. but it is really nice.

looks good, but im sure if you looked around you could find something locally though

5000 is way too steep, i mean no matter how nice it is, its still a 1991 and lets face it, if you come to sell it your not going to get anywhere near 5K, besides you can get a much newer e36 for 5K

The car is very nice and in great shape and the 4.1 LSD has to make it a quick e30.

The Antenna doesn't work - points off
Torn Seat - points off
Craked Dash - points off

Its a nice e30 but its not worth $5100, for that much you should be able to find one without the faults listed above (torn seats and cracked dashes will be a common sight in a lot of e30s.)

^^^ thats true, those are common faults, but in no way effect driving performance. just annoying to see everyday, i know, i see it everyday :(

but any other E30 would have higher theoretical miles. this one has only 41k since the rebuild.

they say when you buy a car you buy the past owner and their maintenance. while $5100 is high for an E30, i love the damn things so much i am almost blinded by this nearly perfect example. :doh

-5 Speed manual transmission (the car was originally an automatic so I got a conversion kit from EURODEPOT out of New Hampshire. The kit included a new Sach clutch kit, pressure plate, flywheel, drive shaft, center support bearing, new guibo flex disc, new hydraulic lines, all new bushings for shift linkage, new transmission mounts, new slave cylindar, throw out bearing, replaced brake fluid with ATE Super Blue)

I think that since there are not any bids on it if you want to buy it you should email the seller and offer a lower price. I would say $3500 and try to negotiate a price with them from there. But I would not get it with out seeing it first either so...
