318i??
Hey everyone I know someone looking at getting a 318i..not sure what year but I was wondering what he needs to watch for with them. |

i dont know exactly, however i do know that the m42 and the m44 are one BMW's toughest engines, in terms of reliability, i dont think he'll be disappointed

I have a 1991 E30 318i. M42. I would rather drive it then our 2001 330. That right there explains it. Amazing car. Make sure when u test drive it there isnt a rattling around 4k..cause that might be the timing chain..and thats costly. Other then that..Its a fun nimble car. handles great. Kills v6 mustangs . and civics speed wise.

^^^ still good stuff to know tho  i would also go for a later model 318i, you might not be happy with an M10.
