The other day my OBC quit working. The only thing that works on it now is the backlight.. What else would have quit working if it blew the fuse? It is a 85 325e. The only thing I found was that my trunk light burnt out. I'm not sure if it is related though.
Does your tach work? I know my OBC was on the same fuse as my Tach.
Maybe try reaching behind it and check the connections to it?

I say u take out the OBC and try to fix it...make sure u got back up money to fill in th egaping hole in your dash with a new one...but try to fix it.

Today I tried replacing the light and it still doesnt work...when I put a new bulb in it didnt light up. So I am assuming it is a fuse. On the obc the backlight still works and it doesnt display anything.
