OBC is the on board computer..its on the same fuse as the Tach. The spedo is a diferent story i believe. So...as long as your OBC is still on, and your tach isnt working, i dont know.

Take out the cluster and see if all your connections are tight

i dunno which sensor calculates the engine RPM, is it the crankshaft position sensor? its one of them, you may want to check into that one, maybe the new engine came with a faulty sensor

my first guess would be a blown fuse. it seems to be the cause of most electrical issues.

are the sensors compatabile with each other? well, they probably are since you are able to start the car, however, if you can, find out which sensor measures the engine RPM and it may be that one

guys , i check my fuses and they are all fine...but my tach doesnt work......now how do i tranfer the idler box thats inside the car on top of the ECU...could that be the problem?

Ps what is that box anyways....do i have to tranfer it?
when i take the plug of the idler in the engine it trys to turn off...which mean its working...
