took it to the exhaust shop and i thought i was gonna get arrested for noise violations. sounded like a friggin pro drag car or somethin
new exhaust sounds badass. a little louder than i would like but its ok.
discovered a nasty vibration on accel on the way home, and i think this evening i blew out my first flex disc with ths car but we'll see. I think i need to adjut the tranny mounts and get a balanced driveshaft. car's stance is about 3/4 of hte way up and looks sick! i'll probably drop it down and slam it for a bit and see how i like it. i have to dial in the damper as it is a little bouncy rather than just stiff right now...
I'll get video tomorrow sometime maybe but i can't get on it due to the balance issue.
pushed it a little here and there and this thing is going to be one solid little animal. already got mad props from all the folks at the exhaust shop and a lot of looks

hahaha. just found my camera charger last night while iwas moving so i will take some exhaust vids tonight. Drove it to work today.
issues thus far... temp gauge doesn't work so i drive with the heater on constantly full blast just to be safe, driveshaft is obviously not balanced and i am pretty sure i have to play with the mounts to make sure the tranny is lined up right in the tunnel as it may be causing excess vibrations. This problem is keeping me from turning it loose as it shakes hella on acceleration. lettin the clutch out in first though this car tries to spin the tires and gets up and goes really quick!!! can't wait to get the driveshaft stuff figured out!
the 2.93 diff is perfect as i'm in 4th at 2500-3000 rpms at 60 and in 3rd i'm at 3500! right in the power range for 60- whatever runs!! (i haven't even used 5th yet) haha

ya i sold them with the car when i got rid of it. needed to be rolling and i had no other wheels...
paul i'm living in shoreline now so if you wanna stop by i'm a little closer now i think. i gotta get this driveshaft figured out cause it's driving me nuts! i can tell it will be faster than hell when that's dialed in though
