when i was reading the m30 swap info on jared squires website (no decal performance, great site with great info) his m30 had the inlet and outlet for the fuel lines opposite of mine. So i was pumping fuel to the rail backwards through the regulator. obviously this wouldn't work and i realized this after looking at everything else. switched the lines and reset the ecu and connected the green wire of my c104 plug to the + of the coil and crank... crank.... enter sweet music of unmuffled m30 and the smell of thick exhaust. (first time the motor has been run for a month or so...

not positive but if the car is done then ya! i have the time off. my gf will be moving back up to WWU so i'll be free. i have to get the driveshaft all mounted up, the shifter figured out and the cooling hoses are a little tricky.
the exhaust i''m going to run is a stromung. i know they sound amazing on the 3.0l m3 so i figure on a 3.5l e30 they'll sound even meaner!

Last time I drove with Chea, he was a bit crazy. I get off work at 3 on Fridays. When will be off work? I just bought a camera mount for the car. So, if you vid, we can have the car camera facing toward the front or the rear. It mounts on a bar that connects to the head rest supports.

nice man, i have the same setup from my old e34. I just purchased the exhaust pieces!!!
Magnaflow 98004 dual in dual out 2" catalytic converter
Stromung e30 m3 exhaust from understeer.com!!!! I can't wait to see how the 3.5 sounds on that system!
I'm planning on running the stock pipes to the magnaflow, then slipping 2.5" over the outlet and running dual 2.5 to the stromung. should be deep and loud!!!! with enough backpressure too i think
also buying the e30 shift carrier and reusing my e34 ssk cause aparently it will work. also found out the stock e30 driveshaft fits without modifications!!! it's exactly the right length i just have to make sure the carrier bearing is in the right place.
figured out the cooling last night as well. it was a little odd cause the e34 had an aux waterpump (electric) and 3 hoses to the interior heater area. the e30 only has 2. i had to make sure i had them right and then cut and clamp them on. hope it works.
also purchased a 14" permacool fan (high performance) 6 blade metal beast capable of pushing 2950 cfm through my radiator. that with some waterwetter and i think i'll be a ok.
