E21, E30General discussion and technical help for 1975-1991 3 series cars.
Nick, your probably gonna hate me. Theres actually a few of those in Canada. Ive seen one or two here in Calgary. Last one i saw was black. i do remmemberseeing a couple of the 5 Series ones too (cant remmber the E#). Finding one for sale may be a little for difficult.
but if u do want an Alpina B10 theres one for sale by my house.

I have never seen an e30 touring in the north american continent, I know there are a few in Canada and that there are a few in the US that people have imported. I have seen them in person in europe. They aren't here and a nicely done one looks just so awesome and would be a one of a kind for the most part, I would really love one at some point in my life. Since I tend to like wagons (my new car is a wagon(touring)).

3.5? 4.0? Bi-turbo? I want one so bad. Do you know the price?
I don't need one either. Everyone and his mother in the UK had a coupe, so I chose the touring for that reason: to be different!
They have since become quite popular though. To be honest, there isn't an amazing amount of room in the back anyway, compared to most station-wagons, but with the back seats down, I can get my mountain bike in the back, and also moved my possessions from the UK to France in her.
And if modded properly, there's nothing more annoying to any coupe than being 'taken out' by a station wagon! haha
Denyo, please check out my blog which isn't very exciting, but explains a bit about my touring (see link above sig photo). I'm building her for looks more than anything else, but have a read anyway and see what you thing, and feel to make any comments you like on there too! This touring has been done on an extremely tight budget
nice what engine is it?
who doesn't have to worry about the budget? I just went by a salvage yard this week and extracted a new M-Tech steering wheel, the A-pillar OEM speakers (extremely rare!), the big OBC, and some other stuff out of a beat-up touring... cost me less than 80$
I thought about buying one here, then bringing it back to the US.... but I'm not sure I will be going back to the US permanently yet... and I have nowhere to put it... so I will hold off for now

I saw a pic of an e30 touring on a track in the US, I believe it was lime rock. They look great, but you guys dont like any of the audi wagons, or the volvo V70R? I mean seriously some of those s line, or the RS audi wagons are sick. I might be getting an e30 project myself, ive been thinking about one for a while, and I saw one locally with a lot of potential
That Audi is awesome! In fact I was drooling over one last night. They're out of my price range though...........
The Volvo T5s and Rs are what I would go for, if not the BMW touring, as they're affordable, powerful with plenty of after market options, and also look fantastique!
