E21, E30General discussion and technical help for 1975-1991 3 series cars.
16 years old and still running 4000rpm for 8 hours.
So I just took my E30 to Oregon. It amazes me how well it runs at 4k for 8 hours straight. Since i got a 4.10 LSD my 5th gear is low and i run at high RPM's above 70mph. So..its tough on the engine.
Either way, had an amazing drive up, nothing went wrong with the car. Kinda Raced a chick in a grandprix...won that. heh.
took her up to 105ish in the middle of nowhere on I5. Im surprised she still has it in her.
Met up with a couple of bimmers who followed me for a while.
THis X5 saw that i was being tailgated by a neon, so i sped up and passed the X5, and the X5 blocked the Neon from Passing. THought that was kind of him. Gave him a thumbs up and took off.
maybe this should be in the Drinvg stories...idk. What ever , E30 318 ftw.
