Instrument Cluster.

Ok so one of my instrument cluster lights seemed to be loose. So i went ahead and removed the cluster to see what was up. Also everyonce in a while my temp gauge would freak out and bounce all over the place. So i figured it was the batteries in the cluster

after taking out the cluster, looking at it i discovered teh bulb was jsut loose, and the batteries are not leaking at all. So...not sure why the temp gauge is tweaking, but atleast i fixed the cluster light bulb.

Either way removal is quiet simple in my 1991. Ill take pics, but its night time, so they may not be that great.

anywho..thought i would share.

Ill post pics later.

Hurray for having nothing to do on a saturday night.

no steering wheel didnt have to be removed.

update.

i got the bulbs. replaced them. put it all back to gether..and realize that my Brake lining indicator bulb was out also...so i took it back apart and in the process borke the corner of the plastic shroud covering my instruments.

Now i gotta go to a BMW yard and find an E30 and get the replacement part.

DIY will be put together after i do that.

GODAMIT either way...cause i fixed one thing and broke another.
