differences between E30's
i was just wondering how many E30 owners have crank sun roofs?
also, my E30 had grommets or little pegs that let you lock down the front mats. do you guys have them too?

As for the crank sunroof. In the states there are not that many but over here in germany 90% of the E30's have them plus the things for the floormats

^^^ you mean your mats have the holes with the grommets in them? (sorry, a little confused in how you used the word grommets)
i have the grommets in the mats, but in my current E30 i dont have the mount points on the floor board. can you just get these from the dealer?
i asked this question prior to getting my second E30. my first E30 had electric roof, the current has a crank, and i dont mind the crank (i can actually open it faster with the crank then with the button), but i find myself opening the roof less than i did with the last 30. . .

i guess they are these, but they looked different in my last E30. . . and it says it has been discontinued, but i think i found them by part number at pelican parts, but they call it a 6 lock.
edit: nm, i guess they mean that the 3 of them are discontinued, but the first one isnt
