E30 wrecked

Rough day for my nephew (member name: Celsdogg) . . . someone rear ended his '91 325i this morning He says even the back seat is off kilter. Take a look at the pics, I think since it's a unibody chassis, it's probably totalled???

The repair seems to be more expensive than the car. But over here that kind of damaged can be hammered and bumber can be source from Junk yards.

A good shop can straighten that out. Cost might be an issue w/Ins co.

That's the crappy part of owning an older car that you dump money into. Unless you have appraisal papers you don't get anything for your car when it is in an accident and totaled! I hope it works out for him!

This makes me sad, unfortunatly I think Insurance will probably write it off becuase it will be easier for them to do that then pay to have it straightened out. Its the worst thing about driving an older car you don't get shit for it if this happens.

its starting to look as if it is going to be written off. . .

my father in law (former mechanic specializing in foreign cars) took a look at it and was going to drive it home but couldnt, it was leaking coolant. it may be a crack in the block of head he says. . .

also, the frame seems to be pretty bent up, cant open rear doors, and even the front bumper is uneven. . . more pictures to follow.

yeah, i did take care of it as best as i could. i love that car, i was never going to get rid or it. . .

I hope your back and neck are okay. It looks like she hit you hella hard, especially to bend the frame.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

At least you weren't hurt in it. Sorry about your car though.

Compared to her car though, your car won.
