QUESTION about Handling?!

I have a 1988 325e BMW
and I was have this concern.
When I get on a rough Freeway going about 65-75mph I get some steeringwheel shake...It seems its the freeway which is terrably torn up around where I live mainly because on other parts of newer freeway its not there at all...Im thinking maybe needs new shocks or struts??? not sure If anyone could shed some light on this it would be grately appreciated.

There are many things to check. Are the wheels balanced, the front bushings old, the steering itself loose, tires unevenly worn?

I kinda have the same problem, sometimes the sterring wheel shakes/vibrates. I hope its noting serious, but ill have it looked at soon. Hopefully it is control arms and tie rods. I did repace my ball joints bout haf a year ago though.

Sounds like it could be an alignment issue. Have you hit any large potholes or curbs recently?

And also, welcome to UB!

I have yes, there are some horrible potholes round here, some that are impossible to miss in the BMW.

with stock suspension hitting potholes doesnt really do anything, there used to be a lot of potholes for the last 2 miles of driving to my work.

I think we assumed you had the same wheels & tires on all around. That would be a good start
