E21, E30General discussion and technical help for 1975-1991 3 series cars.
White '91 325i Dinan w/tan leatherette interior. Total just over 130k miles on the car. Top head completely rebuilt less then 10k miles ago. Ported and polished engine. Body is in great shape with a few minor dings. Never been in an accident or anything and has a clean title. Car is beautiful.
It's a complete DINAN Performance car with Custom Dinan Turbo pushing 10PSI in boost. Custom dinan computers/software. 3.46 LSD, 15" Wheels (not basketweave), umm has every possible e30 performance upgrade available from DINAN. Runs like a champ and has NO mechanical problems at all. Car was babied by an old couple for the first 120k miles who dumped nearly 40k into the car when purchased. Since my mechanic and I bought this car, it has been taken care of like no other.
Only problem is when we disconnected the steering wheel, we set off the ABS Light and that needs to be reset.
So how much is this worth to some people? We're thinking of selling it and buying a blown engine Turbo Evo M3 and rebuilding it. I had videos of us just crusing in this car to show that the turbo works. The thing hauls ass Spanked my friend's highly modded 03 WRX which had a STI turbo implanted and tons of other mods. Thanks guys...
Oh, 7-9 grand.
E30 M3s go for the bottom end of that on eBay and autotrader, and E36 M3s can be had (though in lesser condition) for 10ish. I might be paying a little high, but I'm assuming someone looking for an E30 with all that is looking for an E30, and would rather have one than a newer model.
:P I think we're selling it and buying that blown evo. He's down in Santa Cruz, Ca right now working at some Euro Repair place and a custom rolled this car in (it's right hand drive too ohhh) and is willing to sell it for about 15k with a blown headgasket and a couple of bent valves. No big deal to fix so we want to pick it up and completely rebuild it like we did with the e30 and then sell that :P Has a custom turbo on it, not sure what kind though yet... will get more tails soon...

i'd say about the same as joey, like 8 or 9, but hey you can always do like 10+ and just ask for best offer, see what ppl are willing to pay, you nver know
I would pay(ame being jewish..but love BMW's) around 7-10. over that...just to much. If you waited like 10 years u could prolyl sell it for like 15+ just cause it will be classic.

Your Ride: 1989 BMW 325I Convertible
Man do I love this site. I love your ride. Mine will look like that one day. It nice knowing I'm not the only BMW nut out there. I simply love the E-30's , Its timeless style and performance. I bought an 89 and I cant seem to get the hood to open. Unfortunately, its going to cost me $280.00 just for the mechanic to get in there and give me a new hood latch. I cant start the car as the ignition inst working properly. I can tell you this , the car is in my driveway and I have had 2 offers on it for way beyond what I paid. Any asdvice on the hood latch?
