Gotta break 2 Nuts, any help would be appreciated
So i'm changing my brake rotors and i have 3 of 4 done and I'm trying to remove the caliper guide on the last wheel (front) its 2 19mm nuts and I can not get them to move. I have added a pipe to my wrench for more leverage and nothing is moving. I have some wd40 on there now and will go back out and finnish hopefully before long. Anyone have any Ideas for me? I would love to finnish and I know once I break these loose I can be done in about 15 minutes.
Take something heavy & blunt (not to damage bolt head) and pound on it straight inward towards threads. Threads accumulate rust and beating "in" helps loosen it. Also while using your pipe as extension, a sharp smack on the pipe helps loosen them too (I suspect you've already tried this)

I have tried both, I could probably give it a little more of a hit inward. I have my mexican speed wrench to help with this (I will post a picture later, if i can get this damn thing to move)

Best thing to do is to heat it up, like with an oxy torch, or propaine or whatever kind of torch you can get. Dont make it cherry red but make it hot enough so it will break free.
Other then that, you could always leave the rotor on there till next time you do brakes, if you want to be lazy about it.

New Problem!
Okay I got those sons of bitches off, found 1 more problem, whoever did the brakes lest didn't replace the alen head bolt holding it on, and they striped tihs one so I can't get it out, I was so happy i was going to be able to finnish this up.
I am trying to put a groove in it so I can stick a screw driver in and get it out, if that doesn't work can I just drill it out?

Rotors off but I dont have enough screw sticking out to grab it with pliers, should I go in farther with the drilling (smaller bit so I dont screw any theads)
God damnit this rotor has been the worst thing of the day, i need to finnish this and have a beer.
read other post in other thread, but ill post here again
same thing happened to me on the e36, you gotta use a chisel, screw extrator things suck, they always break and never work.. if you already got the screw out a little bit( a very good start) when you use the chisel, hit the screw from the outside.. so from the outside rim of the screw, if its still all the way in, just drill a whole(dont go too deep) and just work at it w/ a chisel from the inner part of the screw, and have patience b/c u will be doing it for a while

this is an old trick, i didnt try it on these allen bolts, but take a torch(go to home depot, they sell a kit for 40 bucks) and heat the thing till its red hot, then, dump ice cold water(doesnt gotta be ICE cold, but cold) on it, the thing should come out really, really easily, like almost by hand.. i have used this trick on a caliper guide for an audi, and the bolt was stripped, did that, it came out real easy w/ a vice grip

Xsperf, thanks for the idea, I Might give it a try in the morning, because I"m just tired of this shit now. And with the Chisel your saying to hit the outside of the screw (like put a groove in for a screwdriver or soemthing) Please note the rotor is off so I have just a little bit of screw sticking out now, but its still threaded.

I drilled the screw and my bit was big enough that I basically got the head off and then tapped my rotor with a mallet and off it came. Car is back together, and seems like it works but I only drove about 10 feet, tomorrow I will test it out and decide what i'm going to do, and if it can wait until thursday or not.
