Cool control arm and bushing

Today me and my 13 year old son put one of the two control arms on we didn't have a press or any fancy tools just alittle knowledge and some creativity it probably took alittle longer but it can be done with out a machine shop and a press. We had sockets wenches a pry bar and a brass hammer and a regular hammer so this can be done and done right without a bunch of fancy tools oh yea a bowl of hot water and some never seize

Good job. Most people recommend dish soap as when it dries it doesnt leave any material behind that could effect the performance of the bushing. Pushing them in is much easier then pressing them out.

Death 2000 thanks for all your help I have a question for you. My 325e is making a whinning noise when I reach about 15 mph and on it really don't sound like a rear end noise could it be the center bearing or a universaljoint maybe even the flex joint what ya think. I guess my best bet would be to take the belly pan off and look. Just thought you might have a suggestion before I took off the pan.

Check your Guibo. Its a rubber flex disc that absorbs vibration. They are known to wear out and cause clunks and other odd noises. Make sure to check both sides. One side can look perfectley fine while the other is garbage.

Which bracket are you refering to? I dont see one listed in the part diagrams.
