do i need special plug wires ?

is there anything special required for spark plug wires for my 85 BMW 318i 1.8L ? wires for mine are about $60 and hard to find...?

nope, no special wires needed, just hard to find b/c its an old car

don't buy genaric ones though, stock BMW wires are solid core and better then most out there
