do you ever feel like your cars getting old?
hm i was driving to San Francisco yesterday. I was traveling in the number 1 lane(center) cruising at 85-100mph, and i was thinking about how great the car runs, even at relatively high speeds my almost 15 year old 4 cylinder 318 still runs wonderfully and keeps up with most cars on the road.
I was(as i always am) very pleased.
anyone else feel this way about their e30?

yup i get this feeling all the time.
driving a 20year old bimmer that has never broken down on me or left me stranded, where i see my friends newer cars all giving them issues and costing shitloads to fix. Plus im not driving a POS econobox, yet i still manage to get close to 30mpg in the city, and then flog the shit out of it on the weekends. It also feels 10+ x more solid than any other newer car i have ever driven (apart from newer bimmers).

Most of my car is brand new. If you want it to feel old, just don't fix anything.

Yea same feeling, I really like it when I have done drivers schools and come up on things that I really should not be passing.

Yea mine has been so well maintained over the years It feels great. Hopefully I can withstand another year and a half on a limited income without having to do anything too big.
