Removing a rear brake rotor

Hey all, I was doing a brake change including rotors on the rear of my car the other day, and the rotor retaining bolt for my second rotor stripped out. I can't use an allen key to remove it anymore... should I just drill out the head of the bolt, and pull the rotor over the stub, then work on the rest of it afterward? I have ordered some new bolts to replace all of them, but how do I deal with this one?

any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!
Josh W.

You can drill it out or use an "easy out" (drill a hole, insert EZ out and turn it out) but whatever you do - don't drive it until you get your new bolts. You'ld be playing "russian roulette" with your new brake parts driving without that hold-down bolt.
I know of people who have driven with them out - but with heat, expansion and the width of lug bolt threads there's a possibility of the rotors "flexing" under braking and it's not worth the price of your work & $$$ taking the chance.
