more power

If i want to get more power into my 325 e what motor would you suggest that i put into it and what changes will have to make to the drivetrain and the suspension to make the job right

What engine do you want to put in it? Ive seen everything dropped into a E30: S52, S54, M5 V8, V10, even a twin turbo V12.

It's more about what your budget is and how much work you wanna put in. An M50 is an almost direct bolt in. Anything else will require custom fabrication work. You would be better off to just turbo the engine you already have in there.

Death 2000 is right on the money. However I'm a fan of the M50 swap just because I don't much care for the T-belt

I was told that there was nothing that i could do to this engine that i have. A chip and a turbo would surely pep up this little car alot. What all is involved in installing a turbo to this car?

Theirs honesty not much you can do. Intake and exhaust are the most common. However nobody actually makes a turbo kit for your car so you would have to source all the parts yourself. Intake and piping would need to be custom, as well as getting an intercollegiate and mounting it.

The problem with turbo's is the massive amount of parts makes them finicky if something isn't working right. That and you need a custom tune which can run $1,000 or more. Theirs a reason not many people are running around with forced induction. A turbo set up will cost you more then then the value of the car.
