DAVE! Where are my COOKIES!?

HmmmMMMMmmmM?

Okay, here is a quick question for all of you...
I just tried to replace my SI board batteries. It turns out that the board is in such bad shape (traces coming off the board, heavily corroded solder points etc...) that I need to replace the whole board itself. Any ideas as to where I can get a refurbed or known good one for my 86 eta?

THANKS!

Josh W.

where do you live?
If you live in Norcal..you can go to this BMW junkyard in Sac area. PM if you live in the area.

Thanks for the response Numark. I wish I lived in NorCal. I used to drive down there from Seattle on long weekends just to shred the roads of the Shasta/Lake Shasta area in my various cars...
I live in Atlanta GA now though. The issue I am having though is that I don't just want to strip another board out of a junker e30 if it turns out it is bad too! I will be driving my e30 with no gauge cluster for a few days until I can find a good replacement, and that is a bit nerve wracking!
Do you know if there is any difference in the boards between the various models? Can I grab a board from a 318 like yours and expect it to pop in and work right in my eta?

Thanks again!

Josh W.

Pull-a-Part is a great ATL yard. Just get an SI board from a junker. Get several.
