E21, E30General discussion and technical help for 1975-1991 3 series cars.
ok so after $1100 spent on my car..its finally fixed and everythign works fine.
Items fixed:
-antenna mast
-antenna motor
-antenna gromet
-OEM exhaust(had to get it bent slightly cause it looked crooked.it was also knocking. .now it looks and sounds 100% better then before.) old one rusted and had to be replaced after it fell off
-bilstein touring shocks all around
-two new control arms. The ball joints went out...after 30 k miles...so if they go out again ill have to look into that
-a nice wash and wax
So aafter installing the shocks and arms the car handles much better. Body roll is was greatly reduced and road feel is slightly better. The ride, although a little stiffer is still comfortable.
yea so thats it...hopefully i wont have to fork out any more money for repairs. and no upgrades for a little while.

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

Nope. Drop the height and you gotta change the shocks. Pretty much a package deal. I mean you could run the stock shocks, but they'd blow out in a matter of days or weeks.

I would have dropped it man.. brand new springs are only 200-300, and matching shocks for them wouldnt be any more expensive than oem, unless you go with something better or adjustable.
