upgrades
im in an autoshop class so I do have access to alot of tools, and Iwould like to do some upgrades on my car, but due to strict california laws ( which I dont exactly know ) im limited to what i can do legally
I want to do upgrades for more power, of course I could do a lighter flywheel cold air intake but what else can I do, I have some extra time and money + and extra engine and I want to have a faster car.
the car is a 1990 325ic m20 engine
tell me what I can do.

Well here are a couple easy quick ones: A engine chip, conforti and dinan make good ones as well as some other companies that I can't think of off hand. Catback exhaust is another. Those are the really easy things, I dont know much on the m20 so I'm not sure what you can do to get more power out of them.
You could also do shocks/struts and springs, that will make the e30 handle even better.

Yea no use in really trying to mod an M20 up, a schrick came for it is pretty expensive, and turbo is complicated and expensive as well.
I would get a nice exhaust thats not too too loud, just has a nice tone, and then spend the rest on suspension, all new bushings, good adjustable shocks, and stiffened up springs will make for a very nicely handling car.
