i have taken the dash off in an e36.. but that was a big pain, and it was a junkyard car with a broken winshield so i didnt care... haha

but i believe there are tiny plastic screws all around, at the edges, and dont lose them or put them out of place, and when you coem to tighten them dont make them too tight b/c it is plastic

Never Taken a dash out of an e30. Yes please take some pics and do a write up. You might want to see if you can get your hands on a Bently Manual for the e30 that Might have some procedures. Also you can check out this online manual:E30 Service Manual

Its hosted on a russian site? Thats just so they dont get copyright shit, but its all in english.

Yeah. Have a few snorts of fine whiskey and have at her. Just be patient. Youve already gone this far. Might as well keep going.

Theres bolts on the side under your A pillar covers. There is also assorted screws near the Hvac panel and a few others in random places, If you have a bently manual or access to one. I reccomend using it.
