time to paint the e30
Im goning to starting sanding my car down and prepping it for paint. I just wanted to get some input on a few things. Im probly gonna shave the door handles and get poppers. I dont know anyone with poppers and I was wondering if anyones had some experience with them. I still need to find lights for my shield front bumper too. Ive kinda been playing with the idea of getting a carbon fiber hood someday. How would that look with a black paintjob? In a couple months Im gonna buy some new wheels too. ot : hey whiteshark got photos of your e30? i seem to always be staring at your cars ass and would like to see a bit more. as for the paintjob be sure to post sum b4 & after, hope it goes well.

the car needs the paint bad. the jerk off before me had a green stripe on the car and then cleared over it. a green freakin stripe on a dark grey car. it looked so ugly that one of the first things i did wen i got the car was took a silver stripe over it to cover it all up. It has a horrible blend in the door too. it stands out real bad... damn near smacks u in the face |

carbon hood would go well with the black paint job as the bonnet won't stick out too much, stay subtle, not keen on the choice of wheels though, do you have spacers as they offsets are quite high?

I like your choice of paint color and wheels. I love black w/ black e30's. I don't know how a feel about the CF hood though. Photoshop? I agree w/ everyone else though, bofore pics/after pics. Keep us posted. -Matt P.S. Akuma your car looks like sex.
