Trunk Will not Open, any ideas
Hey Guys,
My trunk will not open right now. I move the key to the open position and the locks unlock like normal, I then push the button to get it open and then the doors try to lock and the trunk will not open. The trunk worked last week. Does anyone have any ideas, I have allready checked the locking fuses and they seem allright. I am going to go out and play with it some more. Is there any way to manually open it? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
darn, i was gonna say use a hammer or chisel to get it open but never mind. isnt the radio code in your owners manual? the previous owner wrote mine down in it.

Well My parents are the previous owners on the car (and the original owners) so i know the code is around someplace but they are in Hong Kong so I have no way of locating it. Hopefully they can tell me where it is before too long, otherwise i called the dealer and they will get it for me for free this one time, but i have to take the car in to do it. They said 15-20 mins on the phone. So thats the plan unless i hear where the code is located.

Well everything is fixed i went to the dealer and they pulled the radio and got the code from the serial number at no charge. It will now stay with my manuals in the glovebox.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
