thats why he should sell taht POS( i know he wants to) and get an E30..they are indestructable engine wise.
How many of you beat the living shit out of ur car in the first six months...I know i did..and i still do every once in a while..still runs better then my dads brand new truck...lol

i want an E30, my dad doesn't want me to get one though. he thinks that old cars are unreliable no matter what car it is...

Bought my '86 Eta with 193,963, and am now at 198,xxx in 6 months. I don't take it out on the road for long distances just because the AC doesn't work, and I live in Satan's armpit (aka Atlanta). Just replaced the drive belts and 02 sensor this past weekend and went from 26mpg to 31 mpg on my 45 mile each way drive to/from work! With gas at $2.75 and showing no signs of retreating any time soon, I will take everything I can get! Considering I drive it like I stole it, that is pretty good!

Not an E30 owner (sometimes I wish I was), but I got ~87k mi. I know it's NOTHING like what you have on your cars, but doing 20k mi a year, I'll be there soon enough.
