Bought mine in 2002 with 146k on it and now it's at about 179...If you love your car and maintain it like it likes to be (liquids, timing belt and the other essentials) it will love you back, no doubt. That's probably the most important lesson I've learned by being a mechanic. Cars have the capability of loving you if you love them!

i just went over 128,000...and the mileage counter only works when the speedo does which has only worked 20% of the time since last august...so i probably have around 135,000

The 89 325is has about 220k miles and still gets almost 30mpg on the highway

And the odometer on the 85 318is was stuck at 156k when we bought it when I was 16... 3 years ago, and it gets 30-35mpg highway

both still running strong too

196,568 and still running strong. Drove it to Nacogdoches and back 2 weeks ago and got 30 mpg at least on the hwy.

haha, dan's (spiff's) old e30 had as many miles as many of the e30's on here and his as well as all of yours are still running strong. But 3600 miles on his SAAB and that this is toast. hahaha

gotta love the reliability of bimmers
