Your Ride: 1987 BMW 325 with a chevy V8
i have had my bmw for about 11 months now and this is what i am driving to school

it is a 1987 BMW 325
it has a 305ci small block chevy V8
with a turbo 200 transmission
stock rear end but i plan to change that
hey im only 16 years old, im short on cash
(because of gas prices)
the motor has crane cams, corvette headers
because they are small (it was kind of hard to
stuff a v8 into a bmw)
and B&M quicksilver shifter

This is what i am doing this summer

taking that v8 out and putting in a 327ci
sprint car motor in it instead
(When i get something called money)

currently drive a 325i Cab as seen in my signature.

Current mods:
M-Tech 2 Front Bumper.
M-Tech 2 Door Pods.
Rieger Side Skirts.
Reiger Rear Bumper.
M-Tech 2 Boot Spoiler.
Colour Coded Clear Side Repeaters.
17" Devil H109 Alloy Wheels wrapped in 205/40/17 Nankang Rubber.
Lowered 25mm using Avo Springs.
Twin DTM Scorpion Exhaust.
Crystal Clear Rear Lights.
Full Cream Leather Interior.
RGM Eyebrows.
Crystal Clear Angel Eyes Headlamps.
Original BMW Hardtop. (Now stored away for the summer!)

Future plans for this car is the 2.7 conversion, have a Lumma CL1 style front bumper to go on as well as a new clean bonnet to spary and fit. Considering changing the wheels to BK Racing Alpina replicas. My leather needs recolonising, but as the 2.7 and front bumper/bonnet are a priority at the moment in terms of money may have to leave the leathers till end of the year!

I'm looking for a very good set of beige Recaro front seats for my 1989 325i tudor sedan. I have a good pair of black Recaros to trade or a complete beige interior of front Recaros, back seat back & bottom (seats are leather) and all side cards. Anyone with excess beige Recaros please get in touch at robertsgarage@yahoo.com!

I've had my 1989 325i vert for about 2 weeks. I've had to get a new battery beause I left the lights on twice and it was an old one to begin with. <sigh> Just used to the automatic lights I guess.

I WILL need to do the following:

1. fix the trunk lock - cant get in
2. fix the automatic lock actuators - cant lock it
3. fix the glove box. Broken
4. small leak in the convertible top
5. fix the hood cable release (broken handle, using pliers to open it now - not good when you keep leaving the lights on LOL)
6. Needs a cover for under the steering column.
7. fix the handle to put the top down.
8. eventually the seats needs to be recovered - original leather is split and cracked & worn. but the heaters work nicely!

I think that's everything for now. I will also need a cover for the winter so if anyone can recommend a place to get it, I would be greatful.
