I have an E30 question

I have a 1991 325i that has some trouble starting. I have done everything related to this issue, just short of replacing the fuel pump. So, now that I am there, I ask you: what year fuel pumps are compatible with my vehicle? I don't want to go out and get one that simply won't work.

I adore my machine and I would enjoy nothing more than to be able to drive her again as soon as possible. So, if you can help me out by telling me the best part to get as well as the best place to get it, I would appreciate it.

I would also like to mention that I am in Portland, OR. So if there is any place that is known and trusted close to my town I would be grateful for the knowledge.

Thank you in advance for your very much appreciated help.

Absolute best way to match it? Pull the pump and shop by the part number that is on the OEM pump itself. Otherwise use one of the online sources, BAV, Pelican, Autohausaz etc.

Hi there, any updates on your fuel pumps? Imo, it's better if you go online because these online parts stores have a great feature of putting your car model which will narrow the parts selection to just your model type. This is for you to know that the parts you will be buying will work on your car from the moment you install it. I helped out a friend actually with his search for aftermarket bmw e30 parts simply by going online and it saved us a ton of money to say the least.

Hope this helps! :)

The bmw e30 is an excellent car but the problem with these cars are that they can be a little finicky when they get older.
