Exclamation BMW 325i Cabrio in need of help!!

Hi, I have just bought a 1990 E30 325i cabrio. Its in really good condition, but there is one thing that lets it down.

It has standard 15" BBS alloy wheels size 205/55 15. The car has no centre caps and I am struggling to find replacments for a few reasons. The only ones listed for e30 15" bbs's that I can find are twist on metal caps, but I think the ones I need are push on. My 635i and 730i have bbs wheels with push on caps and I cant see any obvious difference between them and the e30 wheels in terms of how centre caps would fit. (Apart from the hub diameter is a bit smaller).

Can anybody describe what I am looking for to dertemine whether my wheels have push or twist on caps and where to get new caps from.

Many thanks

I have a 92 e30 cabrio and it has 14" bbs wheels. If your wheels are origional they should be no bigger. Also if they are the basketweave pattern, then yes they do twist on. you put them in the lug hole and twist clockwise about 45 degrees. Hope this helps you out!

look at my signature picture. Do your wheels look like the one shown on my e30? if so then they are 14" bbs basket weave pattern wheels with twist on centercaps. Be aware that many of the center caps being sold online do not come with the little bmw emblem in the middle. Those pop in and are usually considered a separate piece. I have about 8 of them myself. Sometimes they fall off, or someone decides to take a "souvenier" while im parked and inside. If you find some I suggest getting an extra or two. They arent getting any easier to find or cheaper you know.

^^ just so you know "15 basket weaves were an option on E30's and standard on IX's although they have a different offset. My car came with the optional "15's only they were the starspoke ones. I forgot the style but they are very rare.
