Starting problem - cold weather - e30 318i
Hi, im new to this forum, but iv read many starting problems and couldnt find similat thread so here we go... I just got my dream come true and bouth my 1st BMW!  iv dreaming having bmw long time ago now and what can i say... its here but with a problem...Its an E30 318i 1985 (no computer) and start very nice when the engine is hot, even when its cold for about 3 ~ 4 hrs. but when 5 hrs pass and i havn't started it, its just won't start... after crancing it for 5 min, my battery went dead and now its on rechardge... When i took it to the garage, my mechanic sayd that he found bad rubber below the carburator and he says thats whats the cosing the problems... I'm gonna buy new rubber tomoro, but i must say i doubd it thats it... What do you think ? Thanks in advance... Last edited by MJanosh; 12-14-2009 at 05:20 PM.. |
