no power to window switchs - United Bimmer Community

ok so i jump started the window motor workd fine and switch all look clean and there is no power to any of the switch's i checkd the cuse and i was just curious if anyone else had run into this problem??? and do those wireing harness goes bad or if it might be a bad ground or maybe the child slock switch is not letting any power through??? just lookin for some advice but i finnaly got my e30 on the road and its possible my fav car so far

and ive seen around here is something about a center console breaker

and if it is any help there is no power to the ciggirete lighter either

There's a completely unmarked push button switch on the dash center console near the hazard flasher, right above the radio if I remember, that'll do it. I think you said you checked the fuse? If not get out the owners manual find it and check it, replace it if there is any question. Make sure that's right first.
