overheating e30
hi just joined have a1990 e30 with a 6cylinder m20 lump it has started to over heat wheh i start it and leave it to warm it over heats on the temp gauge when you check the hoses the top hoses are all hot but the bottom hose from the radiator is cold when you open the header tank it throws the coolant out which is cold i have replaced the thermostat and the water pump but its still the same even tried bleeding the system with the front elevated please help

First thing I'd try is running without the thermostat.

Thats a good place to start, I agree. You could have recived a bad t-stat.
You could also try flushing out the radiator with the garden hose, there could be some blockage of some sort.
