My Custom CAI
I thought i could make a cooler looking CAI for my car, i never really liked what there is to offer in that dept. for our cars. so this is what i came up with. I don't think it makes much of a difference performance wise, but i think i get a bit better gas milage, but it's kinda hard to tell.
The intake
Close Up of the bracket
From the other side
but i think the time has come to sell it. this is how it goes i guess

Now you just need a heat shield to keep it from sucking hot air from the engine bay.

nice bracket you made there, wish i had the tools for that.
i just finished mine too. (everything except the seal on top of the heatshield) i used a much simple bracket, but it does the trick.
you can see that i ducted the high beam to the engine bay with a ribbed tube (downspout extension) then cut out a small piece from the headlight sheild.

for sure. without it the car seemed to bog a little off the line. i have the seal on top now too so it works much better. if there is enough interest i will make like 3 more of these to sell.
