E30 Problems: Hard Starting and Steering Noise
 

Ive got 2 little annoying problems with my E30:
1) Sometimes it won't start unless you give it gas, and sometimes it will start, but if you dnt give it gas it will just die.
2) In really cold weather, when first running the car, there is a really annoying creeking sound when you turn the steering wheel.

I have tried to fix these problems before but was never successful. These aren't huge problems theyre just annoying and ive been able to deal with them. Does neone have ne ideas on how to fix these problems?
