Wink first time donuts in my car

it rained like hell today and when everything started iceing over me and some friends went to a huge school parking lot that was completely covered and did some bad ass donuts. it was so amazing i was doing perfect circles making my friend so mad that he has a jetta pulling the ebrake his whole life ha. i love the sound of bmws when they redline it makes that beutiful "dededededede" sound. and not only in the ice but in the rain i can burn out till third gear. i love e30s. and the other day i raced my friends wrx and kept up with him in every gear till his turbo kicked in every time and it got me thinking how bad ass would it be to turbo my car. or supercharge it... hey would it be easier and or better to supercharge my car over a turbo?

That sound is the rev limiter, I guess you know that. The 325is with the M20 engine doesn't need a turbo IMO.

I wouldn't abuse my car like that
take good care of it, and maintain it properly
else it'll just be one of the other e30s who get torn up racing or end up with blown engines

Sweet cars, In my opinion the m20 and a turbo is a better choice then a supercharger they take quite well to turbo.

first time I tried a donut it got all over my seat

I wont do chili dogs either for the same reason, maybe its my inability to shift and snack at the same time, tho I do attempt to keep a large coffee in my crappy cupholder, not always successfully.

i know EXACTLY what you mean though. i got so lucky to find my car in the condition it is in i feel like i'm torchering my own child every time i drop the clutch. and it doesnt help that there are no clean e30s around where i live.

i was thinking about finding a newer year e30 like a 88 or 89 with the euro bumpers... but i've been looking and looking and cant find a clean one with lower miles than mine. so maybe once i get the money i'll just spoil my car. wash it every day and drive it on sunny afternoons.

i dont think i'm going to sell it anymore. i was talking to my uncle (he has an e36 m3 but used to have an e30) he said my car was the only 87 325is hes seen still running good and on the streets and chances are if i sold it would go to someone that doesnt care and beat the shit out of it. so from here on i'm just gunna keep it running good and smooth. maybe lower it get new wheels and keep all the chrome on it cause you dont really see a lot of that.

Ow don't hit redline! poor car! I have read a few artices about E30's praising the supercharger over the turbo, because it is easier on the engine, and no lag, so you have a smooth power curve while doing donuts and your rear does not unexpectedly kick out when the turbo boost kicks in.
