E21, E30General discussion and technical help for 1975-1991 3 series cars.
Why is it that 1992 e30 models are never mentioned anywhere, including this website. When you look up information on the e30 it always says 1982-1991 models. I have a 92, and I hear tell that there are even some 93 e30 wagons. if someone could enlighten me on that, it would be nice. Not to complain, but to enquire. Admitedly it has become frustrating.

Your Ride: 92 525, 88 325 hardtop'ed vert and 83 320iS
Its the same deal with e46's. You could still buy an 06 or 07 convertible or M3 e46 even though e90's started their run in 06. Its just an overlap of production series.

might be a difference between Europe and US as well
in the US, the current M3 is the 2009 model, right?
Here it's the 08 model because we have the year 08
Americans are always one year ahead in this case
the Touring btw was built until 1994 (the 95 model in the US), because only by then the e36 Touring was unveiled
here are the exact numbers:
* 2-door (11/1982 until 04/1991)
* Sedan (09/1983 until 04/1991)
* Baur Topcabriolet (02/1983 until 1991)
* Cabriolet (1986 until 1993)
* M3 Cabriolet (05/1988 until 06/1991)
* M3 (1986 until 1992)
* Touring (1987 until 1994)
* Z1 Roadster (1989 until 1991)
oh wow! So there are 1993 e30 convertibles even? wow!

No, actually I was born in Hamburg, Germany.
I learned English in school, but I got into the language quite quick (it's easy to learn) and I read English books starting in 7th grade. Well in the end of my freshman year, my family and I moved to Michigan for about 14 months.
That's how it goes.
And also I always took all available bilingual courses at my school
that's Geography, History and Business and Society in English.
