Is this do-able. E30 bumper change
Hi there,
A good friend of mine is looking at an '86 325 4DR (i or e... i'm not sure yet as i haven't looked at the car yet). She is wondering though if the M3 bumpers would bolt up to her potential 4dr? She much prefers the look of the M3 style of course.
Anyone know? Sorry if this has been covered. I've done some searching but haven't seen the topic before.
TIA
-Rik

Probably going to require a bunch of work to fit it I believe the m3s probably are set up with the post 88 bumpers and I know that they won't fit an 86 without some serious modification work. The front quarter-pannels will probably work without too much problem.

86 325,e,es 4dr would be a 2.7 high torque M20 the 2.5 i motor wasn't introduced until 87.
There are bolt on kits for all e30's and all factory parts can be bolted on with a little help.
Which style does she really like is what you need to find out then post a picture so we can give you a better answer.
