Don't know whats wrong with the clutch..
I step outside to leave work yesterday and get in my car. I push the clutch in and it just drops to the floor. No tension what so ever. It was running great in the morning and i checked under the car, no hydraulic fluid. Is there anything that stands out that might be wrong? or am I fucked? I've been toying with the idea of getting a new car.. maybe this is what I need... Appreciate any help.

My Guess would be the slave Cylinder.

i feel stupid asking cuz i've been working on e30s for a while now but where the hell is the slave cylinder?
|
Should be under the Brake master cylinder against the firewall.

The slave cylinder is the part that pushes the clutch fork agaisnt the pressure plate, which bolts to the left side of the trans.
The guy that works next to me has the same problem, but this car is a 05 530, clutch just stays to the floor. Ended up needing a clutch, the guy blew the thing into pieces. |
Hi The slave cylinder is very easy to change as it is only 2 bolts + hose to take it off.No.13 in the link.Watch for spillage as you will need to bleed it.
