Exclamation e30 a terrible turn for the worse my 85 is almost ded!

as you know my 85 325 has been idling like crap jumping up and down sticking at 1k then to normal then jumping up and down like its possesed by a demon if it had a head im sure it spin from the axis of its neck .anyway now it barley runs its idle jumps up and down even to almost 2500 rpms and dies cold start warm running mid point it does not matter. ive done all i can for it i hate giving up but its time to admit defeat and yes take her to the shop !!!may the do it yourself car gods forgive me

DAMN!!! That sucks, sorry to hear. Did you ever swap ECU's from another 325i and see if it did the same thing??

Bad idea on the shop, it sounds like you have a vacuumed leak which you can fix with new hoses or electrical tape! and I would suggest spending your money on up-grading to 1.1/1.3 Motronics to bring your m20 up to date.

ive done all of thee above but upgrade to the 1.1/1.3 my is all decked out thou i have the big nocoligy wire harness i will havt to check my ecu
