1988 335i no start please help
Hi my 88 335i will not start , there is spark and it has fuel pressure it seems that it is getting to much fuel. i have never worked on bmw befor is there anything that i might be over looking
If you could please help

are you sure its not a 535? or 325?
Umm check your idle control valve. Might be jammed?
have you checked fuses?
it might be your DME(computer). I am told they have intermitant problems, and occasionally dont liek to work. Try and tap you dash right above your glove box.
As half assed as taht may sound it has worked on my 318.

i know at BMW south africa they made 335i's. is that where you are located?
i believe its the same engine that was in the 735i of that era.
