Dripping fuel
My 1986 325e drips fuel when it is running.
When it's just sitting in the driveway it's fine, but when I start it up and start driving there's a smell of fuel, especially with the windows up. When I pull over and check it it is dripping out quite quickly.
It seems like it's coming from the fuel line somewhere around the tank, but I can't find exactly where.
Anyone seen this before? Anyone know what I'm looking at here?
I know exactly what you are going through. I just fixed this on my car. For me, I started tackling this by replacing the fuel lines that are leaking. Replace not only the hoses, but the hose clamps. Make sure you replace the clamps with Bosch fuel injection clamps.
Is the car leaking from the front or the rear? Is it leaking from a rubber hose or a metal fuel line?

Good for you. Just remember to replace the clamps with Bosch fuel injection clamps or you'll have a spray of fuel coming from the clamps. <-- Personal experience.
