First Car

Hey Guy's

I've been looking around a while for my first car.

I found a 1986 325 that I'm very interested in. It's got 260K.

There's nothing that needs immidiate attention on it. All the electronics work, the body is in good shape. The engine, clutch, and transmission all seem fine.

I'm just wondering what sort of things to look for when I'm checking out this car, is there anything specific to be aware of?

Thanks

Are there service records? For example, do you know how long it's been since the water pump and timing belt were replaced?

Well, I went and saw the car. Looked it over, examined it, test drove it.

And I think I'm going to buy it.

I took some pictures, and as soon as I figure out how get the files small enough to post I'll put them up.

You could go to a site like photobucket.com or imageshack.us and upload them there and just post the code or url here.

wow! nice E30! looks like the interior is in especially good shape!

stick around and join the UB.C E30 legion!

my only recommendation would be to dump the steelies for some alloys. then maybe make your steelies winter tires!
