Center Bearing Issue

Hello,

I was searching the forum but could not find a DYI on changing the center bearing on the drive shaft. i think mine needs to be replaced since i feel vibration coming from the middle when accelerating between 25-45 miles, after that its gone, i already replaced the transmission mounts.

Do you have to take out the whole shaft in order to replace the center bearing? if any one has links or info on how to do it let me know.

You don't have to disconnect the rear shaft from the diff, but you do have to separate the two driveshaft sections . . here's how:

I still have to disconnect the front half going to the tranny though correct, might as well replace the flex disc there too i guess. thanks for the link
