fuel pressure regulator

i was cleaning through the garage and came across a 2.5 Bar fuel pressure regulator, i know my car uses the 3. 0 bar regualtor.

i was wondering can i use the 2.5 on my car, would it create any issues what not?

Not a good idea. Your car would run lean, throw codes, and damage other fuel system parts, like the O2 sensor, evaporative emissions system and fuel pump, to name a few.

I tryed that it will work but you will notice a lack in power the 2.5 bar regulator is for a 325e the 3.0 is for a 325i be careful not to scar the o-ring when you install it.
